Brig. Gen. Sean T. Collins of the 104th Fighter Wing, a native of Springfield, Massachusetts, is selected as the Assistant for Mobilization and Reserve Affairs, Office of Assistant Secretary of Defense, Health Affairs. In this role General Collins will serve as principle advisor to the Director of Health Affairs on Reserve Component matters for both National Guard and Reserve. Collins promotion to Brig. Maj. Ashley Rolfe is the first female fighter pilot for the Air National Guard’s 104th Fighter Wing. Rolfe is an Air Force Academy graduate and combat veteran who has served in the Air Force for eleven years. Rolfe became an Air Force pilot after growing up as an Air Force “Brat” dependent, following her dad and grandad’s footsteps carrying on the family legacy. The Massachusetts Air National Guard 104th Fighter Wing medics and the Massachusetts Army National Guard Det 1 C Company 3-126th Aviation flight medics along with crew chiefs, train together on flight medic procedures for in route patient care in support of domestic operations for the state of Massachusetts.
