U.S. Air Force Capt. Aaron Johnson, a pilot assigned to the 123rd Airlift Wing, Kentucky Air National Guard, accelerates the throttle of a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft during departure from Karup Air Base, Denmark, for Esbjerg, Denmark, on June 18, 2026, in support of Ramstein Flag. The 123rd AW is providing tactical airlift to NATO Allies throughout the month of June for the Allied Air Command event, a large-scale, multi-location and joint operating area exercise with 18 participating nations and more than 200 aircraft.
