U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Carson Heckman, 173rd Fighter Wing F-15C dedicated crew chief, preflights an F-15 Eagle on the Northeast ramp of the airfield at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon June 15, 2023. The Northeast ramp, typically used for civilian wildland fire fighting aircraft, became the temporary home for the F-15s when the main taxiway from the Air National Guard ramp failed, leaving the aircraft landlocked.
