104th Fighter Wing Opens Renovated Hangar
The 104th Fighter Wing welcomed special guests to the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their renovated hangar opening. Governor Charlie Baker, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Congressman Richard Neal, Maj. General Gary W. Keefe, Mayor Brian Sullivan, Senator Donald Hummason, Representative John C. Velis were all in attendance for the much anticipated formal reopening.

104th Fighter Wing Eagle Claw Exercise
The 104th Fighter Wing executed a Phase I and Phase II operational readiness exercise, Sept. 9, 2017 through Sept. 10, 2017, and Oct. 14, 2017, through Oct. 15, 2017. The students received a 104th Fighter Wing patch and raised the patch up high while taking a photo with Col. Bladen after hearing about the 104th Fighter Wing mission to protect and serve. 104th Change of Command
Col. James M. Suhr assumed command of the 104th Fighter Wing during a change of command ceremony held at Barnes Air National Guard Base, March 5, 2017. Suhr is the first active duty commander for the 104th Fighter Wing. He is a dual status commander as both an active duty and Massachusetts National Guard officer as a part of an initiative known as Total Force Integration. Suhr assumed command from Col. James J. Barnestormer Airmen Deliver Munitions for the Mission
Tech. Sgt. Lucas Hagopian, Weapons Load Crew Chief from the 104th Fighter Wing, arms an F-15 Eagle with an Aim 9X missile during the unit's evaluation at the U.S. Air Force's Weapons Systems Evaluation Program (WSEP). As a part of the WSEP exercise, the aircraft are loaded and shoot live missiles.
